Ellie has had a fairly rough week this week. We think she is outgrowing her pain and sedation medicine dosages. I have encouraged the doctor's and nurse practioners to increase her dosages several times this week. The increases that have been made are very small amounts. Ellie has been on so many different types of drugs that her body is starting to become immune to them.
Ellie is continuing to grow and for the most part resting well. The only times she gets upset is when the nurses move her in certain positions she doesn't like. She is such a challenge to figure out. Positions she liked 2 or 3 weeks ago, she doesn't tolerate now. Ellie is keeping us all on our toes, and we don't mind that one bit.
FYI - I found this to be very interesting. I looked at our insurance billing this week... as of a week and a half ago, Ellie is now a $1 million baby, so the Children's Hospital thinks (bills). To us, no one can put a price on her. It is absolutely amazing how much love April and I have for our baby girl. It again amazes me about how much our Heavenly Father loves us. I cannot fathom!
Please pray for Olivia, Payton, Jaxson, Riley and all of the sick children all over the world. These children need our prayers. Please pray that God would continue to heal them and continue to bless them.
