Hey everyone! Sorry so late on the posting. Matt and I had a long day yesterday and went right to sleep when we got home. Ellie is doing good. Yesterday her she was retaining more fluid than the day before so they increased the medicine to get the fluid off of her. As of this morning, her chest xray looks a lot better! That is an answer to prayer for sure! Ellie did come off her morphine yesterday. While we were not sure if that was helping her or not, she seemed to be a little upset yesterday. Her nurse thinks it could be a result of coming off the morphine. They have given her a few extra doses of medicine to keep her comfortable until her body gets use to not having the morphine in her system. Overall though, she is doing good.
Please please please continue to pray for Ellie's scope tomorrow. We are hoping for good results tomorrow and some answers as to what the next steps are. We know Ellie is in excellent hands-His!!! What more could we ask for!
Hope you all have a great Sunday and a Happy Fathers Day! I know Matt is looking forward to holding is little Ellie as much as he can today! I know this is going to be a great day for him!
