Ellie needs your prayers

As April mentioned yesterday, the doctor's are having a hard time ventilating Ellie.  Her carbon dioxide levels are still high again this morning.  The pulmonologist just performed another Bronchoscopy on Ellie to try to see what is causing this issue.  They didn't find the exact reasoning but they have decided to change her ventilator settings in attempt to better treat her breathing.   Please pray that the doctors will be successful in treating the high carbon dioxide and Ellie would improve quickly.  Ellie is still in critical condition and she needs our prayers immediately.  Please take 15 seconds and pray.  Our God is an awesome God and He can heal Ellie.

Also, Ellie's PICC line failed Friday night and the IV/PICC team is going to insert another PICC line in her this morning around 10:30 EST.  FYI: a PICC line is a Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter that is inserted into a vein and travels through the body towards the heart and stops in the distal superior vena cava.  This intravenous access is a much more stable form of IV and allows the medication to be injected at larger volumes. A more normal peripheral IV can last 24 hours to 120 hours before the body starts to clot the IV off.

Please pray for our baby girl.  Please ask God to heal her.

Thank you!

Matt (Ellie's daddy)
