Ellie is moving again

Hey all!  Ellie is off the medicine that was making her very sedated.  Ellie hasn't been able to move on her own in a week.  She is able to move her hands, feet, mouth and eyes again.  This is so awesome!  Mommy hasn't been able to see her move much at all, so mommy has been eating it up.  It is so great to see her move!  Ellie has been holding and squeezing mommy and my finger today, the best feeling we've had in a long time.  It's been a rough week and a half and we can use all the positive things we can't get right now.  I think we all take the little things in life for granted.

The nurses have taken so much of Ellie's blood for testing that she is starting to run a little short. She is going to get a blood transfusion shortly to add blood back into her body.   This will help her breathing and oxygen levels in her blood.  It's kind of scary to have to sign all these waivers and permission slips for the doctors and nurses to treat our daughter.  It's something that you never think of or never think you'll have to do as a parent.  For some reason God has put put April and me in this situation and we just have to trust that he will sustain us.  I won't lie, I don't understand why; I'm not sure we will ever understand....at least while we are on this earth.  Please continue to pray that our baby girl will continue to improve and please pray for continued strength for April and me.  We all just have to have faith that our Lord knows much more than we do.

I will post some pictures after a while.
