Ellie's new friend the "little man" I had mentioned on a previous post is doing much better. He does have so issues that he needs to overcome, but he has improved. The grandpa I mentioned a week and a half ago that had a granddaughter that wasn't supposed to live another 24 hours, she is alive and improving each day. God is working many, many miracles with the infants at Children's. It is so awesome to see the work our Almighty God is doing. Granted, some of these miracles are being performed by doctor's, with God's help of course.
We are so thankful that we were encourage to go to Children's to allow our daughter the best medical care possible. It was a tough decision to have to make, but we are so thankful we did. It has been 9 weeks today since we had to make the journey to our temporary home. We had know idea how our life would be turned upside down. For some reason God wanted us to go through what we are going through and we will continue to praise His Holy Name. Yes, this has been the most difficult time in our life, but without our Heavenly Father, we don't know how we could handle this. Our emotions have been up and down, and at times we wonder how we are going to make it through another day. But, we turn to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and He grants us strength and perseverance to make it through.
Thank you all so much for your continued prayers. Please pray for Ellie tomorrow as she will be having 2 different scope procedures to determine the quality and make up of her lung and airway. The information from these scopes will allow the doctor's and surgeon's to treat her lung and airway more accurately. We will make a post as soon as we have the results from the procedures.
