We are in the University Hospital

Good evening everyone!  Well, today has been exciting.....to say the least.  It all started at Olive Garden during lunch.  April had a "hot flash" and began to sweat and thought she was having a contraction.  We made the decision to go ahead and go to the hospital.  The plan as of right now is to wait and see if April starts to labor on her own.  If she doesn't, they will induce labor sometime tomorrow.  Ellie is transverse (sideways) currently and at this point they want her to move back to head down on her own.  If she doesn't, the doctor said they will put a "pin hole" in the sack (breaking her water) to allow her water to drain slowly to allow Ellie to move back to head down or cephalic.  If that works then Ellie will be delivered normally probably late tomorrow (Monday) or Tuesday.  If that doesn't work then they will have to do a C-section.  April is doing well but is very nervous.  Our Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist will be in in the morning to consult with the doctors here at the hospital to start a game plan.  Ellie is doing well, her heart beat is strong and she is very active - kicking on the heart monitor.

Please continuing praying for April and Ellie!!
