The ECMO has not been completed yet. Everything was ready and the surgeon received an emergency paitent that had a serious situation. So we've been waiting awhile - not a big deal because Ellie isn't in dire need of the ECMO. The attending physician came to us a few minutes ago and told us that Ellie's oxygen stats have improved..... better than they have been all week! The only test that hasn't been completed this week is a CAT Scan. The CAT Scan is one of the deciding factors to go ahead and do the ECMO because she needs to be more stable; and now she is! Prayers answered!! The ECMO may still need to be completed, but only time will tell. The importance of the CAT Scan is they don't know exactly what is going on with her lung and that really bothers them. The CAT Scan is the only piece of the puzzle they need, and now it is going to be done. Please continue to pray for Ellie, we still need more prayers answered but we are so thankful for the miracle Ellie just received. Ellie's mommy has been saying for months and months that she is a fighter. Ultimately, this is from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and we thank him and praise him for this.
