Well, today has been one overwhelming day....like we needed another one. The CAT Scan was completed and the doctors got the images they needed. Ellie stats are still pretty good and as on now the ECMO has been postponed! Thank the Lord! We have been blessed with yet another miracle! Amazing! but please don't stop praying, the Lord is not finished healing our baby. We truly believe God hears our prayers and listens. We all need to remember (probably me more than anyone); that even after our prayers are answered, we need to continue to pray. Often times we forget about the Lord when we don't have a crisis on our hands. I believe He wants us to "stay in touch" with him even when we don't need a miracle; to develop a personal relationship with him. So please continue to pray that the Lord will heal our baby girl so we can take her home. She still has a long road ahead of her and is in desperate need of more miracles. I don't know that I have mentioned this; the issues Ellie has have never (reportedly) been seen before, so there is not text book that anyone can refer to for answers. This obviously presents many challenges for the medical team at Children's. Please, please pray that God will work through these wonderful, talented and compassionate people to heal our precious baby girl. Please pray for all of the other parents around the world going through similar difficulties like we are. I'm sure many of them don't have the Lord to turn to.
For those of you that are following this blog that do not know us, we appreciate you so much. It means so much to us that people are so concerned and take time out our your busy schedules to pray for us. For those of you we do know, we do not take you for granted. We love and appreciate your thoughts and prayers more than you could ever know. And we know that when 2 or more are gathered in the Lord's name, He is with us. You all have gathered with us and He IS WITH US!! You all have truly touched our heart. THANK YOU!!!
Many of you have said that our little Ellie is so beautiful..... you ought to see her in person. She is the prettiest thing I have ever laid my eyes on!
